Wreck broken into two parts on the height of the conning tower. Two parts are laying under a small angle to each other in distance of 5-10m. The hull of the wreck is laying on the keel slightly leaning on starboard. Wooden bow slightly risen from the bottom in very good condition. On the bow we can find an open hatch. In very good condition is also the depth rubber. Well exposed screw in the stern part with well-preserved torpedo launchers. Cause of the mine explosion around the area of the conning tower, that part of the vessel is destroyed. From the superstructure the periscope is sticking out, it's the highest part of the wreck.

DESCRIPTION
20 February 1945 submarine U 367 stopped attending as an training vessel, a became a military vessel in 31 Flotilla of U-boots (Master HQ - Hamburg, Master of the fleet Kpt.z.S. Bruno Mahn), which had a task to prepare the vessels crew to combat missions. At the time of the training the vessel cruised in Gdańsk Gulf. 16 March 1945 the vessel departure for night training and went missing with the whole crew. After the war there was an relation between the vessel and actions of an soviet submarine L-21 which set up underwater mines. In December 2001 Maritime Office in Gdynia, located an wreck of an submarine in distance of 2,9Nm from Hel Harbor at the depth of 67m (position: 54º34’00,000” N; 18º52’49,599” E). Hydrographic researches made by Maritime Office in Gdynia allowed (Mr. Jacek Koszałka i Mr. Janusz Gęstwicki) in next years to discover that its an wreck of a German submarine type VIIC. With an hull broken on the height of the conning tower. Wreck received a name “OP - Broken”  and marked as UM-020-2002. 04 June 2004 it was available for divers and inscribed by the Maritime Office Gdynia on the list of wrecks.
In 2013 with lots of effort put in by the group of Baltictech divers under the leadership of Daniel Pastwa the wreck received his real name U-367.

DIVING DESCRIPTION

In very good condition is also the depth rubber. Well exposed screw in the stern part with well-preserved torpedo launchers. Cause of the mine explosion around the area of the conning tower, that part of the vessel is destroyed. From the superstructure the periscope is sticking out, it's the highest part of the wreck.
Diving on the wreck you have to be careful on the fishing nets hooked on the periscope. Diving on it you have to look up to not get hooked up in the parts of fishing nets. The wreck is covered in mud which if effected by divers can destroy the visibility around the wreck.
Before it was possible to see an anti-plane cannon. Cause of the fishing trawling the cannon was removed further from the wreck.
