The ship bought by the Swedes from the Dutch. After purchase the Swedes converted it into a military unit in Alvsborg. By Swedish classification it was a medium- sized galleon, which took part in the Battle in Oliva. During the Polish-Swedish War Solen was a used as a unit blocking the Gulf of Gdansk. With other ships from Swedish squadron, it took part in the Battle in Oliva on 28 November 1627

DESCRIPTION
The ship bought by the Swedes from the Dutch. After purchase the Swedes converted it into a military unit in Alvsborg. By Swedish classification it was a medium- sized galleon, which took part in the Battle in Oliva. During the Polish-Swedish War Solen was a used as a unit blocking the Gulf of Gdansk. With other ships from Swedish squadron, it took part in the Battle in Oliva on 28 November 1627. It was attacted by polish ship Wodnik. Because of this successful attack, Swedish skipper had to blow up his galleon. Inflamation of the front parta of the ship caused the explosion and fast sinking. 46 members of the crew survived, all of them were taken prisoner by the Polish.
