DESCRIPTION
The ship was built in 1965 in the Atlas- Werke shipyard in Bremen (Germany) for a German customer , to finally get to the Danish company Partrederi " Trigon " in Copenhagen. The first name is " Monika Munksholm " , then " Monika Trigon " . Mainly stationed in the port of Helsingborg .Company Rederi K / S Westcoast of Denmark, appointed a unit called " West Star" . Ship's last cruise was in Sunday 25 October 1971 years during sailing from Gdansk to England with a cargo of timber. At 2:55 Central European Time because of a growing heel inexorably increased by a raging storm and the only engine failure gave the signal " may day ... " .
