The wreck was raised by the Germans, who wanted to renovate and join the Navy as a "Seerose", but the decision was changed, resulting in ORP Wicher was to leave on an even keel near the port of Hel. DIVING DESCRIPTION
At present, ORP Wicher is a hero of exhibition at the Museum of the Vistula Lagoon Fishing in Katy and remains visible at the bottom of the sea are the lower parts of the hull and the remains of the engine room. The remains are resting on the slope of the wreckage from a depth of about 6 m to 21 m. Despite the short distance from the coast boat is needed to dive. Wreck is difficult to navigate due to its irregular arrangement of shell debris. It is worth to take with you compass and a diving boay because of the short distance from the entrance to the port.
